Director's statement:

I had visited my father's village in Arcadia, in the Peloponnese, for many years before I finally tried to capture on film the texture of life there. Originally commissioned for the village, but then ultimately an independent project, this video includes many of my own relatives as well as beloved people who are now gone. It also captures the endless hive of natural and human activity in the hottest, celebratory days of summer. We were proud to represent Greece with it at a festival in the mesmerizing town of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
