About me
I am a journalist and documentary filmmaker whose work has been shown around the world at festivals and on television.
I am executive director of Mount Mansfield Community Television in Richmond, Vermont. Before that, I was on the staff of the U.S.'s leading Greek American newspaper, The National Herald, where I worked as a journalist and produced videos for the historic paper's website. I'm a regular contributor to Odyssey magazine and have written for Fodor's travel guides, Cineaste, Edible Queens and HSToday.
Between 1997 and 2008 I lived and worked in Athens, Greece and was on the staff of the Athens News. I critiqued every Greek film released between 1997 and 2008.
I graduated with a degree in Social Studies from Harvard University in '94. For three years after that, I learned the ropes of documentary production at Latin American-flavored Boston company Geovision.
